Had a good meeting last night for the first real FSAE meeting. Every one is really nice, plus that fact that I get to work on a race car is even better. Got my first beginner job, I have to machine buttons that attach the disk brake to the rotor. The idea of FSAE is to design new concepts for the old ‘04 car. Test the new ideas on it, and if they work, apply them to the new ‘05 car. So, its pretty exciting stuff. Im just getting my foot in the door, so I can work on the car as my senior project. Need to learn some skills, welding, machining, and what not. So thats what the next 2 years are for. Im pretty excited.

Finale of the Festivities

Just got done with the B-Day festivities with all of the family. It was a fun time strolling Pearl Street, and we also found a nice little burger shop. The presents were quite fantastic, but its difficult to hear that all new iPods come with color screen. Yar, buy one thing then wait a week, and its outdated. Oh well. Besides that it was a fantastic birthday.

Long Weekend

Well, not really, but if felt it. I think its cause I worked on a group project Saturday, and also played soccer on Saturday, while Sunday was spent laying around. Busy week this week with 2 tests, however I feel not as pressured this year to study. Ive done good on the homework and understand whats happening in lectures, so hopefully Ill be good.

The big B-Day is approaching in a week and I have no idea what Im gonna get Sam. Maybe if she would drop a little hint, *cough* *cough* , I would now what she was looking for. Otherwise, I plan on getting her a nice pair of socks to go with the Crocks I got her last year.

Its been cold for the past week, and well, I blame my hair. On Monday, Im walking back from class, hotter then the dickens, so I decide to go get my hair cut. I get it cut, it feels nice and cool. So what happens? It gets cold, and its been cold, and my full time stocking cap(now a full time hat) isnt keeping me as warm. Funny how things work.

Pulled out a Win

Pulled out a win yesterday in our first intramural soccer game. The team is pretty good, we have some good players. The ankle felt good kicking the old soccer ball around. Im a tid bit slow, but in time it will come around. More school is on tap for the week. I have a couple projects due in a bit and got to get them done before the b-day weekend.

Getting into a schedule, not sure if I like it. Kinda wanna mix things up a bit and keep it exciting. Oh well. School is good, starting to load on the work, and it feels good to get things done before they are due. Carl Wieman might just be the greatest teacher I have ever had. Ill have to see what the test looks like though. Hope the weekend holds some good times.

Poor CSU rams loose again. The glory days of Bradley Van Pelt are over, I guess the Fort Collinsites can only hope Plummer gets hurt so Van Pelt can play, and they can re-live the old days. Ok enough, gloating.

Had a good night tonight. Went out with Vp, and Ashley came along. Vp never fails for supplying good times. Nighty Night to all cause I have to head to the Fort and help heal a sick Audi.
