Despite the greatest efforts of the doctors they could not produce me chipmunk cheeks. I partially blame the fantastic apparatus that held two cold packs to my cheeks; it was almost like a bonnet, almost. Besides that everything is almost back to normal. I’m still abusing the right to eat lots of pudding and nothing else. It’s fantastic.

Say that 5 times fast. GO.
I am going in tomorrow morning to get me a pair of chipmunk cheeks, pictures have been requested, we will see how photogenic I feel.
Not much has happened in the last few days. Raccoon hunting take 2 was attempted Monday night, this time I was armed with a flash camera. However, no raccoons were to be found. It was very disappointing. I will promise pictures of raccoons by the end of the summer. Hopefully I will get the chance to see a raccoon swarm on a dumpster again.

Lazieness has prevailed over grocery shopping. Rather, bigger and better stuff. ie. Movies, movies, and some more movies. I could have sworn there was a month long streak without any good movies coming out, then all of a sudden I find myself 4 movies behind. I have a lot of work to do.
Went and saw Lady in the Water last night, it was pretty darn good. Others might not think so, but I liked it. That’s about all I have to report on movies, like I said, I have a lot of work to do.
Thats all.
Busy

Lies. However, I have been busy trying to listen through all of the 46 new songs by The Early November. They dropped a 3-disk album. It’s pretty good, covering all aspects of music. Rock, twangy country, and a bit of Blues. Dang good.
I am currently trying to hunt down a fly that snuck in last night while I was watching the magnificent rainstorm. I’ve almost got him a couple times, but he is a resilient one. It doesn’t help that I am attacking with a pillow because I lack a fly swatter or roll of paper.
Everyone needs to wake up and watch and cheer for Floyd Landis tomorrow during the time trial. Its the all deciding stage. It’s going to be exciting.

“To be a true pwnerer, one must pwn at all games”
-The Masterer
I just watched Ashley and Cory pwn Donkey Kong 2 in 5 hours. It may not be the best pwning ever, however it proves they pwn at all games. The 5 hour thrashing was a minor intermission to Ashley pwning Zelda.

Red Hot

Literally. Went to water world yesterday, and despite the massive amount of sunscreen I stilled got rocked. The ol’ Audi said it was 104 out on the asphalt at the end of the day. That’s too hot to handle. Maybe I should get out in the sun more often, build up a bit of a tan, an immunity to sun if you will.
Not much else is happening the wonderful summer time life of Mr. Ryan Behner. Got my summer time grades back, and gosh darn those A-’s. Whoever thought of actually making those a real grade should get a swift kick.

Not The Same
Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 | | No Comments
I’ve been watching the Tour de France and its just not the same without Lance. It’s just not as fun sitting and waiting for anyone to make a move, where it used to be “Is Lance going to go today?” Maybe I just need to find some new guy to watch, I was banking on Jan Ulrich but he got his nose a little dirty, so then I was banking on Ivan Basso, but he got his nose a bit dirty too, so now I have to start all over. I was hoping Hincapie could pull through, but we shall see how he does in the mountains.
Hope for sunshine, WaterWorld is calling my name.
Change of Major
Thursday, July 6th, 2006 | | 1 Comment
I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to switch my major to some kind of humanities where the main office for is located in the old campus area. I think they offer a dance degree and the theatre building is smack dab in the middle of old campus. Its not that I don’t like engineering, I just like the old building architecture and big trees of the old campus a lot better then the brand new buildings and new short trees of the engineering center. Also, the fountain in front of the chemistry building is always running, while the fountains in the engineering center are not even filled up (this is just a guess, I haven’t seen the fountains in a long time, because none of my engineering classes have been in the engineering center for about a year). I guess I can just hope that my engineering classes are near the old campus area. Plus, dance for a major? I don’t need a degree to tell me something I already know…

Happy 4th of July
School is almost over for the summer, it’s exciting. I think summer school + humanities class = awesomeness. Probably, the easiest credits I will ever receive. The classes were not too easy, but the time frame was perfect. Plowed through a ton of material in a short amount of time and now it’s almost all over.
Just got back from a delicious lunch at Olive Garden, Ashley and I both dined on the all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks. Our waiter was making the best of his day by cracking jokes left and right, he got a good tip. On the way back we tried to get a carwash but the gas station we stopped at was ridiculously expensive. It was $6 for the cheapest wash, and I believe either $8 or $10 for the Super Clean Glossy Finish Wash. So, I had to pass on the wash. If anyone is in the Boulder area and has a hose and sponge I can use, let me know.
Other news, PurePwnage Episode 11 came out and it was pretty sweet. I highly recommend watching it.
Also, I have no pictures from the weekend, just never got around to taking any. The views were not majestic, what can you do?
