Technology ceases to amaze me. Yesterday, I went and picked up a flatbed scanner from Bestbuy that could scan in negatives. I went and set it up on my computer, but I was lacking negatives to scan in, seeing how I was in Littleton. So, a day later I am now up in Boulder.

The scanner did not fit in my shelf space as planned so I moved it across the room to a safe spot on the floor. Instead of my PC running the scanner, the laptop is going to have to do for now. After carefully reading the instructions, and loading the film into the scanner apparatus I clicked a button and the scanner started scanning on its own. Pretty amazing that all I had to do was press “Scan” while the scanner divided the film strips into photos and began scanning. It’s a long process, but I finally have my first digitized roll of film.
