PlayRadioPlay! and Yellowcard
Sunday, March 9th, 2008 | | No Comments
Last night I got the privilege of attending a concert containing PlayRadioPlay! and Yellowcard. It was one of the best shows I have seen.
PlayRadioPlay! came on second and they are in the genre of Postal Service, with sweet electronic beats and amazing vocals. The scene was set with what looked like a 20″ iMac running processing and miscellaneous beats. The drummer and lead singer were pretty amazing. I haven’t seen anyone bang that hard and good on a set of drums in a long time. I highly recommend checking these guys out and listening to some of their stuff.
Yellowcard headlined the show via an acoustic set. 2 Guitars, violin and cello. The long set included everything from, “Old to new and in the middle.” It was good to see them play some of their old stuff. They have always put on a good show, but this seemed a bit more musically inclined, and it looked and sounded like they are getting back to what they did before they “made it.” Needless to say, the long acoustic set was enjoyable through and through. And cheers to the cello player.
Habit

I had tired to get into the habit of shaving again, for pure appearance purposes. However, the recent snow Sunday and Today have put a drastic hold on that. You gotta keep warm.
