Story Line to “A Fence and A Tree”

Exploring my backyard out of the safety of my living room window, I discovered one of the trees had turned a wonderful red. Thus, I ventured out to my deck, and took some long distance shots of the foliage. Needless to say, not so great.

Shoes were applied to my feet, and I packed up shop and headed outside. I got sidetracked by some berries on a bush underneath a street light that happened to be on, despite it being fairly light out. The lighting was interesting, and I liked how the shots turned out.

Finally I made it to my goal of the photo adventure. Earlier, out on my deck I noticed a still green plant growing up way in front of the red tree and I thought, “contrast.” The Results: Not too shabby.
Red Tree, Green Tree
Having tried the green to red contrast idea, I moved in closer, and realized the paint job on the fence surrounding the pool was recently applied, a bit shiny and an excellent black. I thought again, “contrast.” Results: Money Shot. Enjoy!
